A vector circuit analyzer is a specialized measuring instrument for measuring S-parameters and phase parameters. It is characterized by wide bandwidth, high sensitivity and good repeatability of measurements and is a key equipment for the development, production and testing of high-frequency, microwave and millimeter devices.
Structural scheme of the system
The structural scheme of the measuring system is presented in Fig. 2.
Key points during measurements
When building a measuring system, all instruments must be connected to a dedicated grounding line. It is strictly forbidden to use the power grid neutral as a protective grounding for measuring instruments.
The instrument parameters must be correctly set in accordance with the characteristics of the device being tested. The output power of the test product should not exceed the maximum permissible level for the measuring device.
Calibration of the system must be performed before measurements begin. Measuring equipment and adapters should be included in the calibration process of the measuring system.
The operator must be equipped with an antistatic bracelet.
Temperature, ambient humidity and electromagnetic conditions must meet the measurement requirements.
